6) How do you handle sales tax?

Internet retailers are generally required to collect taxes only where they have a physical selling presence. If they do not have any such presence, they are not required to collect sales taxes.

The Internet Tax Freedom Act (ITFA) expired on November 1, 2003, and it is currently unclear when or if the ITFA will be extended by Congress.

BirdieHub.com's current sales tax collection policy is to collect sales taxes only for shipments within the State of Minnesota.
